The Alaska
Ferry Terminal serves as a host for various ferry and cruise
companies. These public and private companies offer service to
Alaska, the San Juan Islands as well as Victoria, B.C. and whale
watching cruises.
Fairhaven
has many of the same brick buildings from its spirited beginnings
at the turn of the century, and has a charm all its own. Fairhaven
residents are intensely proud of their community, and have taken
great care in preserving its character. Visitors from far and near
are welcome!
Bellingham
is a growing and vibrant community with some of the most
outstanding natural resources in the world. With Mount Baker just
45 minutes east of Bellingham, two large beautiful lakes, (Lake
Whatcom and Lake Samish) as well as some smaller lakes including,
Lake Padden and Emerald Lake; the pacific ocean and Bellingham
Bay; not to mention Chuckanut Drive and more hiking and biking
trails then one can count, Bellingham has been one of the best
kept secrets in the Pacific Northwest.
